Freemasons is a local pub owned by Laine, a Brighton based craft brewery. As such you’ll find live gigs and other shows on. A lot of the time you’ll simply find it a solid place to watch whatever sport is on.
Being an independent pub you’re also going to get some more exotic servings, such as a tonic tower from London Essence Co:
Having rhubarb tonic on tap served with blackberries is an entertaining change from a small bottle of Schweppes.
Really though if you’re here then you’re probably looking for a place to watch football, rugby, boxing or whatever else is on. There’s a projector and seating upstairs
Just generally a decent pub for pub activities. It’s airy, nicely laid out and having a local brewery’s beers on tap is welcome change from the usually supply of macro beers. Freemasons is open late as well, so you can always dive up till 2am on the weekend. Down the road from Finch Lodge.
