About 100 meters from Finch Lodge you’ll find Easy Tiger, a new age beer purveyor enclosed in an ideal pub, and by ideal I mean a healthy tap selection and a south facing beer garden.
The pub is dog friendly, holds regular food and drink events and has a solid selection of beers. Outdoor space is above average for the area and indoor space is sheltered from the exits, making it quite cosy during the winter months.
The unique draw is the home crafted Indian street food such as Tikka Chicken Thighs, Mixed Grill feasts and BBQ charred corn. Both the standard menu and special events feature spicey South Asian cuisine with the odd fusion based dish. We’ve never been short an opportunity to try one of a kind concoctions.
On tap you’ll find craft beer big hitters like Cloudwater, 360° Brewing and Siren. There’s also wines and local breweries that swing by such as the recent tap takeover by Hand Brew Co.
With Easy Tiger being about a 2 minute walk from Finch Lodge we often pop by when not quite ready to call it a night. Easy Tiger is bustling, draws a good crowd and keeps everyone well catered - we’ve always had a good time!
